Okay, here we are again. I started another blog. The fourth one that’s for personal stuff. Well, kinda. I figured I should merge my blogs into one, making it easier to manage, bringing more frequent posts and who knows what. So you can expect all kinds of stuff, in all kinds of languages. Yes, I won’t restrict myself to one language. I figure that English will be the main language I use around here, but that’s not a given. Depending on my mood and the content of the post, I might as well write in my native tongue, German. I think that’s a good way to handle things in this new blog incarnation. For once, I know people all around the world. So why shouldn’t they be able to read some of my stuff as well? Most Germans who read my blog speak English as well, so no big drawback for them. And as a nice side-effect, I can train my English a bit. Over the last months it occured to me, that my English started to suck. There was once a time, where native English thought I was one of them. But now? Well, time to refresh that a bit.

On the other side, it’s always good to work on new things and I like to work on websites. Speaking of which, this one sucks. No, seriously, it sucks. While the basic layout is what I am aiming for, the details are really low, even for my standards. Thing is, I don’t have a lot of spare time and wanted to publish this site rather fast. So I just took the default theme and edited it to my needs. I am well aware, that it doesn’t look the same in all browsers and that there are many flaws in the design and the implementation. But those will be handled…. sooner or later. I will work on a complete fresh template on a test site. But for now, you have to live with this one, even if it really sucks. Sorry.

Regarding the regular non-blog content, I will fill that in when I find the time for it. Till then I will keep my regular site up. But first things first.

So, that should do it for a first post. Let’s see how things will envolve.
