Where the Hell is Matt?

There are several people on this planet that have some special memories that others would like to have as well. For example that of any space traveler for seeing our wonderful planet as a whole or that of Brad for banging Angelina (or the other way ’round, depending on you preference).

Another guy with presumably great memories would be Matt. Matt travels that world and does a silly dance for a living. Well, that was the original idea, which envolved to something even better. Go check out this video on YouTube (you have to watch it in HD) and his webseite.

Trailer Dream

Yesterdays trailers before the sneak were nice… Indiana Jones and Star Trek. I already love this year. It’s like geek-o-rama. Can’t tell you how eager I am to see those. (Don’t you dare to make crap movies out of those titles and break my heart, hollywood. I still have hope for ya, really.)

The other trailers… The Call, The Game Plan… all unintentionally scary in their own ways… and I already seem to have cleared my memory of the last trailer… not a good sign. But the actual film was good. I really have to catch up those reviews.

Not just a header image…

Someone uttered a question regarding my current header image. This is a photo from the gentlemen’s lavatory at my university. Then again, gentlemen’s lavatory might imply that this is something different or better than your average men’s room, which it isn’t. Last year, the restrooms underwent renovation. A few days, after the rooms have been reopened, this graffiti appeared on a pillar next to the urinals. Despite its artistic qualities, it was the first sign that the loo will continue to be the way it was before they have been renovated. By now, half of the urinals have been covered with plastic film and one of the two stalls is missing its lock. On top of that, it’s dirty (thanks to the new, inexpensive cleaners) and sometimes it smells worse that a train station john.

This leads me to the message of this post. Public toilets can be interesting. Not interesting as in educational, but interesting as in disgusting. Especially when people think they are alone, while you have a sit-in a few meters away.

Guys, is it that hard to flush urinals as well? Even if you start to drink Chanel Nº 5, your piss won’t have the fragrance of Marilyn Monroes’ pillow and the longer it stays in warm rooms with bad air condition… well, let your imagination do the rest.

And please, for the love of St. Rochus, wash your hands in any case. Don’t you find the thought disgusting to shake hands with someone who just drained the lizard, shook off the last drop and/or wiped away his vestiges? And what are you doing with your hand after you pressed the flesh with someone like that? Cover your yawning mouth? Pick your nose? Pet your lovers face? Romantic! Of course that’s just a paranoid exaggeration. But think about it. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if some people would just spend half a minute more on each run to wash their hands?
