Right now our super high tech coffee machine is being decalcified. Perfect moment to monitor the withdrawal behaviour of some caffeine-addicted co-workers. We are just a few people on the floor at the moment, but every few minutes I can here someone walk to the door of the room, where the machine resides, open up, take a quick look (can’t hear, but figure it) and close the door again. Over the years I learnd how to distinuish most people around here by the way they walk. Some seem to be more addictive than others.
Personally I also benefit from being able to hear the working process of the machine and will know when to walk over and can sit calmly till then…… but I swear to Godzilla, that if that machine wont spill out some caffeine soon, someone’s gonna get the better of it.
Update (~15 minutes later): The sound of the grinder has been calling me. I’m such a whore for the smell of fresh coffee.
