It must’ve been around 1994 or so. Originally we would have been on a field trip. But since the weather was really bad, we went to Stuttgart instead. Visited a museum and were let lose on the city afterwards. Digging through a pile of Amiga Games (yes, I owned an Amiga, still own it and still love the system) I stumbled on Quest for Glory 2 – Trial by Fire. To make a long story short, this game and the entire Quest for Glory series have become one of my favourite computer games.

And now (editors note: “now” as in “a few weeks back”) is a glorious day indeed, for AGDInteractive Studios have released a remake. Oh, all the memories coming back to me now. I’m really looking forward to play this… some day…

Anyway, all who’ve got more time at their hands and are interested in classic adventure/rpg gaming should have a look at the AGDInteractive homepage and check out the game. They also produced remakes of Kings Quest 1 and 2 (which are offline for the moment, but will be back soon).
